Stabilizer 100. 6# is a chlorine stabilizer and conditioner that safely and effectively adds cyanuric acid to your swimming pool. Cyanuric acid helps keep chlorine in the water rather than being attacked and removed by the sun's ultraviolet light. Without Stabilizer 100, chlorine quickly dissipates and consumption increases. Stabilizer is normally added when a pool is freshly filled or when LARGE amounts of make-up water are added to the pool. DO NOT ADD MORE THAN ONE TIME PER SEASON. ONLY ADD WHEN NECESSARY (CYA level under 40 ppm). When starting in the spring time or at initial pool opening, filter the water for at least 24 hours before testing CYA for an accurate reading. For use ONLY in chlorine pools. DO NOT use in pools sanitized with bromine or biguanide. Swimmers may use pool only 15 minutes after application! No Pre-mixing required!
